Lodge History
Sipp-O Lodge was founded by Stuart Rila at Camp Buckeye in the Massillon Area Council in 1948 as a Brotherhood Service Project.  Click here to read the Lodge history as written in the book "Challenge and Opportunity: the Buckeye Council Story (c. 1982 by Kirk Albrecht and the Buckeye Council).  Much of the history may also be gleaned by reading the newsletters and other publications of the Lodge.

In 1992, the merger of the Columbiana Council with the Buckeye Council brought Scaroyadii Lodge, 472 into Sipp-O Lodge and in 2017 dissolution of the Heart of Ohio Council brought in the Johny Appleseed Trails and Harding Area chapters from the former Portage Lodge 603.
